FIGARET X
EN VRAC
THIS IS NOT A SHIRT...
A capsule collection imagined in collaboration with the ingenious and passionate Marine Nallet Barrabes, creator of En Vrac — the Parisian brand of vintage clothing and unique ceramic objects.
Through a limited series of upcycled shirts, Figaret and En Vrac breathe new life into the House's hidden gems and celebrate craftsmanship. True to its values of excellence and sustainability, Figaret has hand-picked pieces from its dormant stock for this project, embracing the beauty of what's already there.
Using dyeing, screen printing, and embroidery techniques crafted in France, this unisex collection reinterprets shirt classics—white poplin, striped cotton, and denim—through the distinctive En Vrac aesthetic.
For this collaboration, En Vrac’s creator designed three unique patterns inspired by the world of shirting and correspondence.
GOOD NEWS
Entitled “Good news!” (Bonne Nouvelle), this drawing by Marine Nallet Barrabes evokes the literary passion that binds En Vrac to Maison Figaret. What could be more beautiful than “smelling the scent of paper, taking your finest pen, writing, sealing the envelope, sticking a stamp, putting it in the mail, waiting for the postman and reading… good news!” says Marine.
PAINTBRUSH STRIPES
This second design reinterprets Figaret’s classic stripes with ink and brushwork, applied in bold hues on solid or striped fabrics. These iconic stripes have, for years, inspired Marine Nallet Barrabes to seek out and collect shirts bearing the Figaret signature.
BADGES
Lastly, the third design brings together sixteen small illustrations in the form of badges, symbolizing a common love for shirts and the world of letters. Grouped in sets of three or sixteen, these motifs adorn the shirts featured in this collaboration.
As the holiday season draws near, this collection of unique creations makes up the perfect gift—each shirt will be presented in a special gift box.
